Lansbury Ward Update

Hello Residents of Lansbury Ward

We have recently had some extra police resources in the Lansbury Ward area targeting crimes that residents have highlighted to the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Listed below are some good results from these extra patrols

2 Males were arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply drugs (Drug Dealing) after a vehicle that was seen driving at speed was stopped

1 Male was arrested for Possession of drugs after officer believed they came across a drug deal

1 Male was arrested for Racially Aggravated Public Order Offence while officers were conducting foot patrols

1 Male was arrested for Recall to Prison and for Handling Stolen Goods. He was standing next to a vehicle that had been reported stolen 3 days prior. This was after a call from a member of the public about a suspicious male.

3 Males arrested for Possession of Offensive Weapons and Possession with Intent to Supply drugs following a Road Traffic Incident and multiple calls from residents

1 Male arrested for Dangerous driving having tried to make off from police, decamping from the vehicle and trying to run away before being apprehended by officers

1 Male arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Drugs (Drug Dealing) after being stopped by officers on mobile patrols

2 Males given Fines for Possession of drugs

1 Male given a Fine for Possession of Nos Gas

Drugs and Nos Gas canisters recovered from a vehicle that failed to stop for police earlier in the day which was found abandoned

As you can see from the above list we use a variety options when dealing with offences depending on the circumstances present
